It's at the center of the AI technology revolution!

The world is rapidly changing with the AI technology revolution now. Amazing AI technologies beyond human intelligence are creating various forms of new services, which are transforming throughout society, including culture, art, finance, and agriculture. It is an inevitable process that information accumulated by the combination of big data and AI technologies is connected and fused, and digital informatization is intensifying. As a result, it can be said that it is the time when the industrial map is being reorganized. Smart homes, buildings, cities, artificial intelligence robots, and autonomous cars centered on artificial intelligence are no longer stories of the future, but reality by our side, and the speed of development of the technology is beyond imagination.

Change is another opportunity. The more rapid the change, the more so. Currently, governments, companies, and universities around the world are making all-out efforts to lead this change. As part of our school's preemptive and proactive response to these changes, our AI convergence department was established under the name Smart System Software in 2015, and it has been expanded and reorganized into the AI convergence department since 2021.

Our department has organized a demand-oriented curriculum centered on the necessary technologies of enterprises with the advice of various industries dealing with AI technology as core technologies. Students will learn the subjects that cultivate basic competencies (mathematical competencies, software development competencies, project development competencies, and AI competencies) as AI convergence system/service developers in common, and in-depth learn the contents related to the four career paths (AI/big data experts, system experts, autonomous driving experts, and application software developers) that can be converged with AI. In addition, these curriculums will not remain as they are, but will continue to be updated according to changes in technology demand. Based on this curriculum, our department wants to cultivate AI convergence experts who can develop various intelligent systems/services based on basic knowledge of AI.

Our department is the cradle of AI convergence, which is at the center of future technology, and it is the birthplace of differentiated talents who will lead the AI era. I look forward to seeing our students with prepared education perform on the world stage. We ask for your interest and support.
